Building Fairfield Forward

Fairfield is at a critical moment.

We are home to hardworking families, dedicated small businesses, engaged community leaders, and young people full of promise. At the same time, we face significant challenges. An estimated $11 million annual structural deficit, concerns about public safety, rising housing costs, and the need for greater economic opportunity require thoughtful leadership and long-term solutions.

Fairfield’s future will be determined by how well we connect the dots.

Economic development, public safety, housing, transportation, education, and quality of life are not separate issues. They are connected. When residents have access to career opportunities, safe neighborhoods, reliable transportation, attainable housing, and strong community support systems, our city becomes stronger.

Creating opportunity strengthens public safety. Economic growth supports city services. Transportation expands access to jobs and education. Housing stability improves quality of life. Strong communities are built when these systems work together.

The path forward requires growing our economy, creating career pathways, supporting public safety, investing in quality of life, and bringing people together to solve problems. It also requires ensuring Fairfield has a strong voice in regional conversations and that residents have a meaningful seat at the table.

Fairfield’s future will not be built by one person.

It will be built by all of us.

Together, we can Build Fairfield Forward.

Economic Development & Fiscal Stability

Fairfield cannot cut its way out of an annual structural deficit. We must grow our economy strategically and expand our tax base. I will focus on attracting and supporting industries that create career pathways, family-supporting wages, and long-term economic opportunity. We need to strengthen relationships with employers, educational institutions, workforce partners, and regional organizations to ensure Fairfield residents are prepared for the careers of today and tomorrow.

Economic development is not just about business growth. It is about creating opportunity, increasing city revenues, and ensuring Fairfield can continue providing the services residents depend on.

Public Safety & Community Well-Being

Every resident deserves to feel safe.

Public safety requires strong law enforcement, effective emergency response, prevention strategies, youth engagement, mental health resources, and community trust. We must continue investing in solutions that improve safety while strengthening relationships between residents and the institutions that serve them. Safe communities create the foundation for economic growth, neighborhood stability, and a higher quality of life.

Transportation & Access to Opportunity

Opportunity means little if people cannot access it. Transportation plays a critical role in connecting residents to jobs, careers, education, healthcare, and essential services. As Fairfield grows, we must continue improving mobility, connectivity, and infrastructure to ensure residents can access opportunities throughout our region.

Housing & Quality of Life

Residents deserve housing options that meet their needs at every stage of life. Whether someone is buying their first home, raising a family, downsizing, or aging in place, Fairfield should offer a variety of housing opportunities while protecting the quality of life that makes our community special.

Community Engagement & Collaborative Leadership

The best solutions come from the people closest to the challenges. I believe leadership is about bringing people together, listening, building partnerships, and creating spaces where residents have a meaningful voice in the future of their city.

I will continue building tables where residents, businesses, educators, nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and community leaders can work together to solve problems and create opportunities. Fairfield’s future will not be built by one person. It will be built by all of us.

Together, we can Build Fairfield Forward.
